About Us

Kenny has been in the business for over 47 years, starting out working for his father-in-law's business,  Powell Furniture Services. When he retired it became Powell-Morris Furniture Services. From the time Kenny's son, Patrick, was 14 years old, he started learning the art of wood restoration and refinishing. He then joined the business with his dad 20 years ago and the two have since established a shop in Olathe where they have been for the last 13 years. Their expertise includes commercial work including conference tables, office furniture and hotel refurbishing as well as individual work including cabinetry, home furnishings, and antiques. They have mastered the art of touch-up as well as complete refinishing.
